Postnatal Services
We offer one-off postnatal visits or two options for postnatal packages which include on call services.
We cover a range of things such as breastfeeding support, jaundice management and wound healing/recovery checks. With our postnatal packages your care starts immediately after your labour. We will be on hand to give you advice and support during home visits whilst you are recovering. Care is individualised to meet your personal needs and can supplement current NHS care or replace it.
All our visits can include:
Essential postnatal mother and baby checks
Including baby weigh-ins, jaundice monitoring, monitoring the health and development of your baby, newborn blood spot screening and recovery post-birth.
Specialist breastfeeding advice and support
Not only do we have extensive training in breastfeeding support but we also have the time to help guide and facilitate this with you and your baby.
Newborn support and baby sleep patterns
Includes colic and reflux support, and advice on newborn temperature regulation.

Having your own personal midwife means that you will have someone who truly understands your individual needs, preferences, and concerns. From the moment you are home we can offer continuous support, guidance, and reassurance. Your personal midwife will take the time to listen to your concerns, fears, answer your questions, and provide evidence-based information to help you make informed decisions about care for you and your baby.

All our visits are carried out in the comfort of your home. These are usually daily for the first few days and then slowly spaced out depending on you and your baby.

This package provides you with postnatal care within the first 4 weeks following your labour. Care is individualised to meet your personal needs.

We provide in person support, videos and resources as well as referrals things like tongue tie separation if required.

We identify and make appropriate referrals when needed. This can be to a number of health care professionals depending on the issue or concern.

Your midwife will be on hand 24/7 to provide you with advice and support or for emergencies. You have a dedicated number that will come straight through to your named midwife but in the event, she is on another call or with a client, you will have a named second midwife.

We set up a Whatsapp group support chat with your midwife. It creates a friendly and secure place where you can ask any questions or advice, arrange appointments, send pictures, videos and test results. It also gives you easy access to both your primary and secondary midwife in one place.
